SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT MOTHER'S DAY

I am lucky to be the mother of Pamir and Doruk, my two boys who don't know that I posted this picture here. As soon as they find out they probably will make me delete it, until then I just keep it uploaded.

Motherhood is special for all of us, either we appreciate being a mother to someone as well as celebrate being somebody's son or daughter.

I did not know that mother's day is celebrated on different days around the world. I learned this when we moved to the UK in 2016. Now I use the privilege of celebrating mother's day on the second Sunday of May (Turkey and most countries of the world do celebrate on this date) and also in March . Mother's Day in the UK , also known as Mothering Sunday, is held on the fourth Sunday of Lent (the period preceding Easter). It is exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday and usually falls in the second half of March or early April.

Love to celebrate my motherhood twice a year ...Turkish and British Mother's Day, hooray.
